About the role

As an Architectural Assistant at JOW ARCHITECTS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and delivery of architectural and interior projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, collaborative team that is dedicated to shaping the built environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Design and manage assigned projects independently under the guidance of the Director and/or Associate including attendance of meetings, recording of meeting minutes, project scheduling etc
  • Be involved in design development, tender documentation, contract administration and construction stage.
  • To represent the Company to attend Design coordination and Technical meetings
  • Project management and coordination.
  • To resolve problems that arise during construction.
  • To meet project schedules and work on more than one project simultaneously
  • Prepare meeting minutes and document information logically
  • To coordinate and speak to various consultants and vendors for the projects

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural design, preferably within a professional practice environment
  • Proficiency in using architectural software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to deliver high-quality work
  • Knowledge with prevailing Singapore regulations and codes governing construction and architectural practice
