Job Description

You will lead a team to bridge between AIC and the community, fostering positive relationships to develop impactful and effective programmes for the community. The team will work closely with community partners and partner agencies in a volatile, dynamic, and fast-paced environment that would require you to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently. Familiarity with national health policies, coupled with strong project management skills would ensure the successful development and delivery of the desired outcomes of the national programmes.

• Lead the strategic planning and development of social prescription programmes for Healthier SG and Age Well SG initiatives.
• Oversee high-level partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
• Direct the overall implementation and evaluation of programmes across Active Aging Centres in Singapore.
• Lead and mentor the team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
• Report to senior management on programme outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Represent the department in high-level meetings and forums.
• Lead in the bilateral and ad hoc meetings with various Community Partners (including Ministries, Health Promotion Board, People's Association and Sport Singapore) to discuss and drive Healthier SG and Age Well SG initiatives.
• Establish and maintain a robust knowledge management system to facilitate the smooth transition of duties and responsibilities, as well as the preservation of information for future operational planning.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline, preferably with experience in the healthcare or social care sector.
• At least 14 years of experience in community health or social services, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Planning and Development Skills: The ability to define programme objectives, scope and key deliverables in alignment with identified goals and stakeholder needs, overseeing the creation and evolution of various programmes from conception to implementation.
• Communication Skills: The ability to think critically, articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, tailoring the message to diverse audiences ranging from team members to high-level stakeholders.
• Interpersonal Skills: The capacity to build and maintain positive relationships, demonstrate empathy, navigate conflicts, and influence others across various organisational levels and external partnerships.
• Leadership Skills: The proficiency to inspire, guide, and develop teams, make sound decisions, and drive strategic initiatives that align with organisational goals.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: The aptitude to thrive in dynamic environments, effectively manage change, and swiftly adjust strategies and approaches in response to evolving circumstances
