About the role

Singapore General Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Therapy Assistant (Physiotherapy) to join our team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Physiotherapy department, located in the Outram Central Region. Your primary focus will be assisting our skilled physiotherapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to our patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide assistance to physiotherapists in the delivery of various physiotherapy treatments and interventions
  • Escort and transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed
  • Set up treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean and maintained
  • Observe and report on patient progress to physiotherapists
  • Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the physiotherapy department
  • Provide general administrative support as required

  • Experience working as a therapy assistant or in a similar supporting role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
