About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join our team at Yue Hwa Chinese Products Pte Ltd in Serangoon Central. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth operation of our retail store. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Handling cash and card transactions accurately
  3. Restocking and maintaining the presentation of merchandise on the sales floor
  4. Answering customer queries and providing product information
  5. Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well-organised at all times
  6. Adhering to company policies and procedures
  7. Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and provide an outstanding shopping experience

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or retail role is preferred
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  4. A positive, friendly and helpful attitude
  5. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  6. Proficiency in English and Mandarin (or other relevant languages)
