About the role

Join the dynamic team at LC&T BUILDER PTE. LTD. as a Quantity Surveyor. This is a full-time position based in the Mandai Estate North Region. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates and effective management of project finances.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for construction projects
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget
  • Prepare progress payment claims and valuations
  • Identify and resolve cost-related issues during project execution
  • Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and process improvements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost factors
  • Proficient in the use of estimating software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and regulations
