We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team on an 11-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, matching purchase orders, and reconciling vendor statements. Responsibilities:

  • Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address any issues or discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors
  • Assist with month-end close processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  • Provide support to the Accounts Payable team as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Qualification with experience in an accounts payable role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
