Job Responsibilities

  • Strong in operations and customer service-related industry
  • Handling day-to-day operations independently
  • Data creation and entries
  • Daily interactions with customers and vendors on shipment status
  • Arrange Import/Export documentation & provide daily customer support
  • Interact with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance, and facilitate customs clearance and deliveries to customers
  • Ensure that all commercial documents in connection with the orders are in place and compliant with shipping practices
  • Manage HS code classification, product review against regulatory/trade requirements
  • Provide direct operational support for internal and external customer requests related to imports and exports of commodities
  • Management of Customs record-keeping requirements where applicable, analyze and determine duty opportunities, draft responses to Customs inquiries.
  • Efficient coordination of all operations functions (Warehousing, Freight forwarding and Distribution).
  • Work with 3PL and forwarders for stock collection and ensure smooth movement of goods

·       Maintain reliable and accurate stock records in ERP system

  • Responsible for proper storage of materials
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping in the warehouse
  • Prepare required monthly reports and submit such reports in a timely fashion (e.g., space utilisation report, inventory aging report, KPI report, manpower status report).
  • Ensure all suppliers DO and store DO is updated into the system before account closing.
  • Sourcing for rates from shipping lines/ carrier
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain, or any related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Third-party logistics (3PL), Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ocean freight shipment documentation & processes (MSDS, DGD, B/L) and legislation (DOT CFR 49, IMDG, FMC, INCOTERMS)
  • Customer-centric with the ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Experience in inventory management and strong administrative skills
  • Familiarity with SAP order processing and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with or possess a strong knowledge of Zero-GST warehouse process
  • Attentive and detail-orientated
  • Able to work under stress and pressure
  • Possess a valid qualified driving license
  • Possess forklift license will be an advantage
  • Able to start immediately or with short notice will be an advantage
