About the Role

Lead end-to-end commercial interior design—from space planning and concepting to materials/finish specs and project coordination—ensuring designs meet brand, budget and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Space planning & concept design: Translate client requirements into functional layouts, mood boards and materials/colour schemes
  • Design development: Produce presentation decks, 3D visuals and tender/IFC drawings; specify finishes, fixtures and fittings with cost/lead-time in mind
  • Project coordination: Liaise with clients, contractors and vendors; align on scope, timelines and budgets; track progress from inception to completion
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain drawings, schedules and samples; support approvals and submission packs as needed
  • Quality & practicality: Balance aesthetics, cost, code compliance and buildability; perform site checks to ensure design intent is achieved

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma (or above) in Interior Design or related field
  • 5+ years' commercial interior/fit-out design experience; Singapore project exposure is a plus
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple projects/timelines
  • Proficient in Google SketchUp; working knowledge of AutoCAD (and ideally Adobe CC/Revit or equivalent)
  • Strong client/stakeholder communication and vendor coordination skills
  • Bilingual (English & Mandarin) to liaise with English- and Mandarin-speaking clients, contractors and suppliers (requirement is role-related; all qualified applicants are welcome)
