We are looking for a proactive Procurement Executive with strong experience in purchasing, freight forwarding, and supplier management.

Job Description:

  • Utilize the in-house procurement system to:

  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs).

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Generate procurement and inventory reports for review and analysis.

  • Create POs, upload DOs.

  • Reconciliation of delivery orders with purchase orders and invoices, before handing over to accounts for payment processing.

  • Manage daily material, tools, and consumables requests from project sites.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to fulfil material and service requests promptly.
  • Liaise with suppliers for quotations, lead times, deliveries, and issue resolution, maintain and develop strong relationships.
  • Proactively source and evaluate new suppliers and vendors.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of suppliers and vendors.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback on newly introduced materials, tools, consumables, and vendors.
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favourable pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements.

  • Take ownership of strategic procurement analysis, including:

  • Reviewing procurement and cost reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost saving opportunities.

  • Presenting findings and recommendations to management.

  • Provide administrative support for cross-departmental coordination.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally in the construction industry.
  • Strong background in freight forwarding, shipping, and international logistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
  • Experienced with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 and/or Globe 3.
  • Meticulous with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • Able to analyse and present procurement data clearly.
  • Well-organized and efficient in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiar with procurement SOPs and adheres to compliance standards.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to resolve issues proactively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in supply and billing matters.
