Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Principal to lead and inspire a team of educators. You will oversee the centre's operations, drive programme and service excellence, and nurture a culture of collaboration, care and continuous learning. As a strategic leader, you will foster strong partnerships with families and the community while ensuring compliance with ECDA regulations and the highest standards of care and education.


Responsibilities
  • Manpower & Leadership: Develop manpower plans, mentor and coach staff, and build a collaborative and professional culture.
  • Centre Operations: Oversee systems, processes, budgets, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Programme Excellence: Define centre vision, mission and values; promote continuous learning and service quality.
  • Curriculum & Pedagogy: Drive quality teaching practices, child engagement, classroom management, and holistic learning outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen relationships with families, community partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Lead training, workshops and initiatives to uplift professional practice across the centre.

Requirements
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education and Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership/Training (DPE-L/T) or equivalent recognised by ECDA.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing preschool centres.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory and communication skills.
  • Computer literate and well-versed in centre management systems.
