About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Wholesome (S) Pte Ltd as a Site Supervisor in the Jurong East West Region. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. This full-time position is an excellent chance to contribute to the success of a dynamic construction company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to specification
  2. Monitoring health and safety practices to maintain a safe working environment
  3. Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
  4. Overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment to support construction activities
  5. Reporting on project progress, costs and any variances to project managers
  6. Providing on-site training and mentoring to junior team members
  7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant construction regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
  2. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and equipment
  3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with main-con, sub-con
  6. Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g. CSOC, WSHO)
  7. Experiened in furniture works
