Client Details

A growing residential property development company is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager to join its Melbourne-based team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality housing projects. You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and suppliers, and ensuring construction projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The position reports directly to the local Operations Director.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise residential construction sites.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Resolve on-site issues and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in residential construction as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications in building and construction (preferred).
  • Additional language skills—especially Japanese—are a big plus
