The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with a Business Support Services provider in the Automotive Industry in Singapore. The organization manages corporate facilities, residences, and offices, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, safety, and comfort.

They are seeking a hands-on Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Technician with strong expertise in M&E systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety), preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor supervision, and safety compliance. The role also involves supporting renovation and fit-out projects, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring quality and timely execution.

The Job

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, service calls, and urgent repair needs.
  • Manage and supervise external vendors/contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and rectify them proactively for operational reliability.
  • Support renovation and fit-out projects, including reviewing technical drawings and supervising on-site works.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cost-effective, energy-efficient maintenance practices.

The Talent

  • Diploma/ITE or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities/property maintenance, with exposure to renovation or fit-out projects (hotel industry preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety and building regulations in Singapore.
  • Strong coordination, vendor management skills, and willingness to be on standby for urgent support needs.
