Maintenance Technician

• Preventive Maintenance Excellence: Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance, reliability, and longevity while minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Emergency Response & Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to unscheduled breakdowns, perform systematic troubleshooting, and implement preventive actions to improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Installation & Qualification Support: Execute machine installation and qualification processes, ensuring proper setup and optimal performance of new equipment.
• Compliance & Safety Management: Maintain a work environment that strictly complies with EHS, 6S, and GMP requirements to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and orderly documentation to support regulatory compliance and performance analysis requirements.
• Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory and raise purchase orders to support maintenance activities and minimize equipment downtime.
• Continuous Improvement Participation: Actively contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement activities focused on enhancing safety, quality, and productivity.
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide technical support to the Facility department for repair and maintenance activities when required.

• Technical Education: Candidates with Higher NITEC or Diploma qualifications in Electrical and Electronics or Mechatronics, providing strong foundational knowledge in modern manufacturing technology.
• Maintenance Experience: Professionals with 3-5 years of working experience in equipment maintenance, with experience in optics fabrication and CNC machine operations being an advantage.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with PLC systems, drives, automation technologies, electrical circuits, collaborative robots (COBOT), mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
• Specialized Skills: Practical experience with motor and pumping system servicing, bearing replacement, and mechanical component maintenance.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Problem-Solving Capabilities: Team-oriented mindset combined with excellent problem-solving skills, able to analyze complex technical issues under pressure.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication abilities at all organizational levels, enabling effective coordination with supervisors, colleagues, and external vendors.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with SAP or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays, and after office hours when required.
