We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and safety of warehouse facilities, equipment, and systems. This role plays a critical part in performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime, and supporting workplace safety standards. This role will also oversee contractors and service teams while contributing to continuous improvements, including digital maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities and equipment in compliance with WSH regulations and company policies
  • Act as the process owner for compliance with the SPS '6D – Total Preventive Maintenance' Card.
  • Manage maintenance budget and expenditures.
  • Liaise with the manager and assist with supervising contractors. suppliers and service teams for maintenance, repair work and operational matters.
  • Monitor and support facility-related projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements through preventive maintenance and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure 5S and workplace safety standards
  • Track and maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment.

Requirements

·       Dip in Mechanical Engineering,  Electronic Engineering , Electronic & Electrical or related field

·       Min 2 years of experience, preferably in industrial and warehouse environments

·       Knowledge of spare parts management and inventory control

·       Able to read schematic/technical drawings/AutoCAD

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Familiar with hand tools, equipment, and smart tools (eg. smart screwdrivers)
