GRP/REN is Total's Division responsible for the development, construction, O&M, asset management, and financing of renewable projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, and off-grid solutions. Its strategic goal is to reach 35 GW of operational renewables capacity by 2025, with over 10 GW installed and an expected annual operating capacity of more than 5 GW.

As a Structured Finance Analyst / Financial Advisor, you will support the Structured Finance team in financing renewables projects and optimizing transaction value.

The team's responsibilities include:

  1. Defining financing strategies for renewables projects,
  2. Raising non-recourse debt for project funding,
  3. Assessing project economics,
  4. Advising on equity strategies.

Main activities include:

  1. Assisting senior team members with financing tasks such as due diligence, transaction structuring, data room management, and documentation in the APAC region;
  2. Preparing presentations and analyses for financing and partnership opportunities;
  3. Supporting financial modeling of solar, offshore wind, or storage projects to evaluate profitability;
  4. Proposing financial optimizations to enhance project profitability;
  5. Running scenarios, sensitivities, and ad-hoc analyses for finance and business development teams;
  6. Supporting project economics assessment for new opportunities, including financial modeling;
  7. Coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Business Development teams to ensure projects are bankable and financeable;
  8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for valuations, due diligence, and integration;
  9. Preparing financial and economic reports for senior management and internal committees;
  10. Maintaining relationships with lenders such as banks, ECAs, and DFIs.
Candidate Profile
  • Engineering degree or Master's in Business, Science, Math, Engineering, or related fields.

Technical skills & soft skills:

  • Extensive experience in financial modeling, preferably in project finance or transaction environments;
  • Understanding of accounting and finance (P&L, CFS, BS);
  • Knowledge of project finance and structured financing processes;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • VBA knowledge is a plus.

Languages:

  • French: B2 level.
