About the Division:GRP/REN is Total's division responsible for developing, constructing, operating & maintaining, asset managing, and financing renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, and off-grid solutions. The strategic goal is to reach 35 GW of operational renewables capacity by 2025, with an expected annual operational capacity increase of over 5 GW and project investments of approximately $4 billion per year.
Role Overview:As a Structured Finance Analyst / Financial Advisor, you will support the REN growth by optimizing the financing of transactions within the Structured Finance team. Your responsibilities include defining financing strategies, raising non-recourse debt, preparing project economics, and advising on equity strategies.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist senior team members with financing and project finance tasks such as due diligence, transaction structuring, data room management, offer comparisons, project management, and documentation in the APAC region.
- Prepare presentations and analyses for potential financing and equity partnership opportunities.
- Support financial modeling of renewable projects to assess economic profitability.
- Propose financial optimizations to enhance project profitability.
- Run scenario analyses, sensitivities, and ad-hoc studies to support finance and business development teams.
- Assist in evaluating new project opportunities, including developing financial models.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Business Development teams to ensure projects are bankable and financeable.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project valuations, diligence, and integration.
- Prepare internal presentations for senior management regarding financial and economic results.
- Maintain relationships with lenders, including banks, ECAs, and DFIs.
- Engineering degree or Master's from Business School, with specialization in science, mathematics, engineering, or business.
- Extensive experience in financial modeling, preferably in transactions or project financing environments.
- Understanding of accounting and finance principles (P&L, CFS, BS).
- Knowledge of project finance and structured financing processes is preferred.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams independently, rigorously, and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; VBA knowledge is a plus.
- French: Level B2
