We are seeking a Sales Executive with a strong commercial mindset for one of our shipping clients. The ideal candidate possesses a keen interest in vessel sale and purchase activities, enjoys stakeholder coordination, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

A background in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. The role calls for a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation and timelines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze reports for principals on selected tonnage, providing insights into vessel performance and commercial outcomes to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate delivery documentation and related processes for the sale and purchase of selected tonnage, ensuring smooth transaction execution and adherence to commercial terms.
  • Support the S&P Manager in negotiations for vessel sale & purchase and newbuilding projects by coordinating information flow, preparing supporting materials, and maintaining communication with brokers, principals, and external counterparties.
  • Manage and monitor installment payments for newbuilding projects, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and maintaining effective communication with financial and commercial stakeholders.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 1-2 years working experience preferably in various sectors of the shipping industry
  • Good working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and ability to understand financial modelling
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Good understanding of Mathematics and preferably also financing principles
