Job Description
Develop and manage sales activities by building partnerships with retailers,
distributors, and SMEs to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales activities of all brands across retailers, distributors, and SMEs to ensure the achievement of short- and long-term business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop joint business plans together with key retailers, distributors, and SME partners.
- Develop and track annual trade and promotion budgets by customer type (retailers, distributors, SMEs) and brand.
-Negotiate customer trading terms and manage accounts receivables based on customer business process understanding and win-win solutions. - Ensure every activity supports long-term business relationships with customers, distributors, and SME partners.
- Prepare monthly reports and analysis of business achievements, opportunities, and targets incorporating broad market trend data.
- Develop business partnerships by giving recommendations and improvements as needed to extend and develop the company's customer, distributor, and profit base.
- Maintain and update customer, distributor, and SME databases with accurate contact and business information.
- Develop sales activities and forecasts incorporating market data, competitor insights, and opportunity analysis.
- Support retailers, distributors, and SMEs in developing their business plans to ensure FineToday cosmetic and personal care products remain a top priority.
- Manage the Sales Merchandisers to maintain a sound knowledge of FineToday products by assisting with the provision of product training, product upgrade demonstrations, and sales demonstrations.
- Build and establish strong in-store presence of brand/products in both retail and distributor-managed outlets.
- Maintain regular inventory records and out-of-stock updates for trade, ensuring availability in distributors' and customers' warehouses according to service level agreements.
- Ensure that sales and marketing initiatives comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
- Propose initiatives to improve business processes and overall working procedures to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with other ad-hoc on-the-job requests.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimally 3 to 5 years of experience in sales management and customer
development, preferably from the FMCG industry, with exposure to both retail and distributor/SME channels. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint), with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with a good command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous in execution, and extensive knowledge in customer and distributor management.
- Outgoing personality with a positive, hands-on attitude.
- Self-motivated, team player with the ability to cope in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
