**Position Summary**:
**Duties**:

- Achieve revenue and gross margin objectives for Consumables (IPT, Key Surgical)- Establish routine call patterns for contacting existing and prospective Customers by telephone and other means to generate sales for all healthcare products and services to achieve revenue objectives and metrics set by management
- Probe to fully uncover and understand Customer needs, objectives and goals and effectively match our products, services and technologies to assist in solving Customer issues
- Travel to assigned territories if the opportunity yields a high ROI and meets the needs of the business
- Responsible for product trials, often times in conjunction with Field Sales counterparts, if Customer requests a sales representative on-site or needs in-servicing
- Submit and execute an accurate sales forecast on a weekly or bi-weekly basis accompanied by feedback to sales management to support projections.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to provide Tender and Sales Admin support.
- Source for Tender Opportunities and alert respective Sales Team for any tender opening twice weekly.
- Develop Tender process structure to streamline our responses for accurate, consistent, efficient and timely submission
- Prepare quotations and work with different stakeholders to consolidate Tender submissions that are consistent with all established guidelines for healthcare facilities (Singhealth, NUHS, NHG) or members of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs)

- Bachelor's Degree**Required Experience**:

- Minimum two years documented sales experience; prior consumables related sales experience preferred.
- Business Acumen - Results oriented with the skills and desire to meet Customer and STERIS needs.
- Negotiates favorable outcomes with an emphasis on ROI.
- Communication - Effective communicator via speech and other methods who differentiates themselves with structured follow up and active listening skills.
- Team Orientation - Openly shares information across all departments and business units while assisting peers with learning and developmental efforts.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills.
- Experience working with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - Office based programs
- Strong decision-making skills; understands how decisions impact the Customer and the Company
- Strong analytic skills (data gathering, analysis, and recommendation development)
- Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
