About the Job

This role involves delivering physiotherapy services in a community-based or day rehabilitation setting, supporting client recovery, and contributing to service quality, clinical development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional physiotherapy assessments, treatment planning, interventions, and progress reviews for assigned clients.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care, including participating in case discussions and supporting caregiver education.
  • Supervise and guide therapy assistants, interns, and other personnel involved in therapy services.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical quality standards, audit requirements, workplace safety procedures, and proper documentation of outcomes.
  • Oversee day rehabilitation centre operations such as client scheduling, staff allocation, equipment management, and facility upkeep.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects, research initiatives, and development of new rehabilitation programmes.
  • Support community engagement efforts, including outreach activities, educational sessions, and training events.
  • Contribute to staff competency development through coaching, training, and adherence to professional practice standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Full registration with AHPC.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
