Therapy Aide

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the Therapists in carrying out therapy service to clients from any programme.
• Provide individual and group therapy uneder the supervision of the therapists.
• Participate in therapy related activities for the clients.
• Provide documentation support to the department and therapists.
• Conduct activities prescribed Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Report clients' rehabilitation progress to Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Documentation of all activities conducted.
• Update monthly activity attendance.
• Display weekly activity schedule.
• Perform vital sign checks before conducting any activities.
• Assist in toileting when necessary.
• Maintain proper record and housekeeping of rehabilitation equipment and safety standards of the activity areas as well as the fittings & equipment.
• Other additional operational duties as assigned by Centre Manager.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Diploma/ HMI certificate in a related field
• WSQ qualification in Therapy
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working in an elderly setting is an advantage
