Responsibilities:

  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
  • Coordinate trial runs for new product grades with R&D and Operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate process performance to identify risks and issues.
  • Troubleshoot process problems, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in HAZOP, FMEA, and control plan studies.
  • Lead or support process-related projects, including capital and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with EHSQ programs and relevant ISO standards.
  • Collaborate across departments on audits and system improvements.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2 - 5 years as Engineer in petrochemical industry or equivalent
  • Familiar with Safety Case Regime, ISO 9001/14001/45001, SS651
  • Experience with Aspen Plus, HYSYS, and DCS
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 standard &  IEC 61511 standard is a plus
  • Experience working in a large petrochemical firm / in the manufacturing industry
