Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage and collaborate with business process owners to gather and document dashboard requirements
  • Analyse business processes and reporting needs
  • Create dashboard specifications and wireframes
  • Validate data requirements with stakeholders
  • Acquire data from primary/secondary data sources and perform data cleaning/wrangling/mining to uncover underlying trends
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance guidelines
  • Analyse results using appropriate statistical techniques, not limited to descriptive and inferential statistics, to uncover actionable insights
  • Design, develop, maintain and update interactive dashboards/ visualisations using appropriate BI tools with user-friendly interfaces for decision-making
  • Work with data sources and databases
  • Design, create, maintain, and query data models
  • Undertake any miscellaneous tasks and assignments as needed to support the organisation's broader innovation efforts

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification in IT, business analytics or an advanced diploma in data-related fields.
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Proficient in data visualisation tools like Microsoft Access, Power BI and Qilksense
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient in visual communication principles
  • Proficient in stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Good to have knowledge of programming skills for advanced statistical analysis.
