  • Minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience. including Regional
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, costing and strategic financial management
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience in SAP FICO
  • Familiarity with IFRS, GAAP, and local tax laws
  • Working experience in China MNC
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate with HQ in China and various Stakeholders as well as attend meeings in China HQ (2-3x a year)
  • Supervisory experience
  • Advantage: CPA, ACCA, or CFA

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial information to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.

General Ledger Reconciliation:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll entries.

Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.

Process Improvement & Systems:

  • Improvement & Systems:
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations.
  • Support ERP system upgrades or transitions.
  • Automate routine accounting tasks where feasible.

Tax:

  • Provide tax advisory, manage transfer pricing compliance, and optimize tax positions.
  • Evaluate tax implications for M&A activities and secure available tax incentives.
