Kitchen Assistant (Malaysia-Style Cuisine)

Location: Central Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Working Hours: 8- hour shift with 1-hour break (rotational or fixed days)

We are a vibrant Malaysia-style food stall serving crowd favourites such as Char Kway Teow, Curry Noodles, and Nasi Lemak. We pride ourselves on authentic flavours, fresh ingredients, and fast, friendly service. Join our growing team in our first stall opening in Central, Singapore soon.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the main cook in food preparation (e.g., washing, cutting, marinating)
  • Prepare ingredients for dishes such as
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Set up workstations and ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations

·       Assist in plating and packaging takeaway orders

·       Operate and manage the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for taking orders and handling cashless payments

  • Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Preferably with prior experience in hawker or food court stalls (but not mandatory)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot kitchen environment
  • Willingness to learn and support different kitchen tasks
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge is an advantage
  • Able to work long shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Overtime
