**Job description**
The role is to be responsible for materials and parts purchasing as according to direction from the engineers and follow up to ensure the timely availability of all parts needed to assemble the company's products and services. It will also include the store keeper's role to keep track of purchased materials and their safekeeping until it is released to the factory floor correctly.
**Responsibilities**:
**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**
- Sourcing for RFQ
- Negotiation with suppliers for competitive price, quality and delivery schedule
- Prepare purchase orders, coordinate and ensure timely deliveries to support operation needs
- Knowledge of MYOB, SAP, ERP will be an advantage
- Suppliers' sourcing and evaluation
- Monthly purchasing and Costing Report
- Support project engineers from start to completion of a project working together with other team members to ensure timely and successful manufacturing of company's products
- Shipping and accounting knowledge will be advantageous
- Good standard of documentation control
- Control warehouse inventory and prepare stock report on monthly basis
- Able to multitask & handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
**Relevant Working Experience**:
- O' level / NTC or Diploma in engineering probably in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronics
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management, Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Priority will be given to those with experience in Oracle ERP systems
- Strong communication skills with good command in **English and Chinese Mandarin **to liaise with internal and external parties
