Application Engineer

Focus of the role: product performance, testing, and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support of semiconductor inspection machine between internal team and external customers.
  • Evaluate and establish vision system performance specifications.
  • Manage customer-specific projects and related documentation.
  • Prepare technical documentation and deliver training when required.
  • Drive product improvement through feedback and technical analysis.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in an Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor device manufacturing and quality control processes with a good communication skills with customers.
  • Strong knowledge AOI / Vision Machine / Semiconductor Automated Equipment.
  • MUST HAVE a proficiency in any programming language (e.g., C++, C#, or Python).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor optical inspection equipment is advantageous.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronics and PC hardware systems.
  • Willingness to travel when required to Singapore & APAC regions.
