Our client, a well-known Japanese company is currently looking for an Senior Application Engineer / Application Manager (Inverter Drives Division)

Brief Summary:

A prominent entity in the engineering sector is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Application Engineer / Application Manager within the Inverter Drives Division. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre and post-sales technical solutions for inverters and drives.
  • Conduct site troubleshooting and low-voltage drive commissioning.
  • Facilitate in-house training sessions for the sales and marketing teams.
  • Organize technical trainings and seminars for consultants and end-users.
  • Support the sales team in expanding the regional distribution network.
  • Create bills of materials based on tender specifications.
  • Provide customer support by addressing technical inquiries and understanding customer requirements to offer optimal solutions.
  • Conduct market studies and provide relevant feedback.
  • Prepare technical manuals and articles.
  • Develop and maintain a technical database.
  • Respond promptly to technical inquiries from end-users and distributors.
  • Remain informed about new product launches and acquire necessary technical knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with low voltage electrical products, particularly in drives, motors, or PLC, with a preference for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Strong hands-on capability to deliver pre and post-sales technical solutions.
  • Proficient site troubleshooting and application skills.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Confident in conducting technical trainings and presentations for partners and customers.
  • Possess a solution-oriented mindset.
