Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead the procurement of medical and non-medical equipment and furniture.
  • Organize and lead user workgroups by setting objectives, facilitating discussions, and monitoring progress.
  • Prepare technical specifications and evaluate tender submissions for compliance.
  • Collaborate with user departments and stakeholders to meet functional and operational needs.
  • Provide technical recommendations to end users and tender committees.
  • Monitor budget and ensure procurement aligns with financial plans.
  • Keep abreast of healthcare design and equipment trends to support strategic campus development.
  • Support Group BME operations and align local practices with institutional policies.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors on service and performance commitments.
  • Offer technical advisory to users and senior management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

Job Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance or hospital engineering.
  • Prior exposure to healthcare equipment planning is preferred.
