About the company

Our Client is an established MNC As part of their plan to invest in technology, they are now looking for a new Data Engineer / Database Administrator ETL | Python to join their team.

About the job

Your role involves:

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Managing databases, monitoring system's health and performance. This includes database fine tuning and configuration
  • Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Automate using scripting for repetitive tasks related to database administration and data pipeline management
  • Gathering, organizing, and transforming raw data into meaningful insights that can be understood by business stakeholders. The primary objective is to ensure data accessibility, enabling its use for performance assessment and improvement.
  • Refining and automating regular processes, track issues, and document changes

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 3 years of experience in data engineering / ETL / Python experience.

Candidates with experience in cloud such as AWS or Azure will be od added advantage.

Scripting experience for automation will be of added advantage.
