The Clinic Assistant is responsible for the effective administration and operation of duties assigned at the Reception Counter.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Attends to reception duties.
- Registers cases and prepares the necessary documents for patients' visit.
- Provide financial counseling to patients.
- Performs cashiering duties. Collects payment from patients. Reconciles the daily collection report with actual collections.
- Answers phone queries from patients.
- Chaperon and assists doctors during consultation.
- Makes & accept appointments for consultation.
- Submit the Medisave applications. Checks Medisave account holder's balances from CPF website, prints hard copy and tagged the information into HIS.
- Cover duties of other staff during their absence where applicable.
- Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications & experience
- Possess at least 2 years' relevant working experience.
- Knowledge using Clinic Assist will have added advantage.
- 5.5 days work week, (4.5 days + 1 day evening clinic, 8:30am to 8:30pm).
- Comfortable to be cross-deployed when the need arises.
