General Worker cum Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming goods and materials.

  • Carry out storage, labeling, and proper organization of inventory within the warehouse.

  • Pick, pack, and issue goods for delivery or internal use according to instructions.

  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Ensure the warehouse, storage, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.

  • Support general duties including moving items, ad hoc maintenance and repair work and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

  • Assist in loading and unloading of goods from trucks, containers, and deliveries.

  • Follow safety regulations and proper handling procedures for goods and equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum secondary education or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in warehouse/storekeeping is an advantage; training will be provided.

  • Physically fit and able to carry or move goods

  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse practices preferred.

  • Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys); forklift license is an advantage.

  • Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to perform simple maintenance and repair tasks when required.

  • Willing to learn new skills and enhance knowledge to support overall operations .
