Roles & Responsibilities General Worker cum Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant Job Responsibilities · Assist in receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming goods and materials. · Carry out storage, labeling, and proper organization of inventory within the warehouse. · Pick, pack, and issue goods for delivery or internal use according to instructions. · Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records. · Ensure the warehouse, storage, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner. · Support general duties including moving items, ad hoc maintenance and repair work and other tasks as assigned by supervisor. · Assist in loading and unloading of goods from trucks, containers, and deliveries. · Follow safety regulations and proper handling procedures for goods and equipment. Job Requirements · Minimum secondary education or equivalent. · Prior experience in warehouse/storekeeping is an advantage; training will be provided. · Physically fit and able to carry or move goods · Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse practices preferred. · Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys); forklift license is an advantage. · Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. · Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills. · Able to perform simple maintenance and repair tasks when required. · Willing to learn new skills and enhance knowledge to support overall operations .
