Senior Executive – Cost & Contract (Data Center Projects)

Location: Singapore

Region: APAC

Our client, a leading player in APAC's data center development sector, is seeking a Senior Executive, Cost & Contract to join their technical and delivery team in Singapore.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with Quantity Surveyor experience who want to step into one of the fastest-growing industries in the region.

About the Role

As part of the cost and contract management team, you will:

  • Support the Senior Manager, Cost & Control in managing construction contracts and consultancy agreements.
  • Advise on procurement strategies, tendering procedures, and contract matters.
  • Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers, maintaining an approved vendor registry.
  • Provide insights on construction costs, market trends, benchmarking, and cost risk analysis.
  • Maintain cost databases and deliver accurate cost reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support feasibility studies.
  • Ensure safekeeping of contract documents and compliance with internal policies.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within data center projects.
  • Degree in Building Management or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of data center project lifecycle and building services.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and cost analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English in order to communicate with both internal and external stake holders; additional languages are a plus.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong stakeholder management skills.
