Overview:

The position supports the organisation's mission to build a data-driven ecosystem by strengthening data governance, protection, and security across internal departments and external partners in the social service sector.

Main Focus Areas:

Data Governance Implementation

  • Assist in developing and enforcing the Tiered Data Governance Framework and Data Security Instructions (DSI).
  • Ensure all data use complies with Government Information Management (IM) policies and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Internal and External Compliance Support

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure data collection, usage, and sharing practices meet governance requirements.
  • Coordinate with external partners (e.g., social service agencies) to manage Secured Data Exchange Agreements (SDEA) and assess data security compliance.
  • Support audits and reviews with external auditors and agencies to evaluate data protection standards.

Data Culture and Capability Building

  • Plan and support data-focused events such as hackathons, community exchanges, and training workshops.
  • Develop communication materials (e.g., EDMs, newsletters) to promote data best practices.
  • Enhance staff data literacy and foster a culture of responsible data use within the organisation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in data protection and public sector policies.
  • Strong communicator capable of working with both government and non-government partners.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information carefully.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome, especially those with internship or stakeholder management experience.
