About the Roles

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Executive to join a leading building and construction manufacturing company specializing in furniture, located at Mandai Estate. This is a permanent position with a 5-day work week (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm). What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Oversee the entire project cycle from contract award through to final account closing.
  • Prepare procurement schedules and lists in line with project timelines and specifications.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor quotations, and draft subcontract documents as needed.
  • Record, track, and document variation orders (VO), including timely submission of VO costs.
  • Coordinate monthly progress claims and support the Project Manager in account settlements.
  • Assess subcontractors' VO claims and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Follow up on payment certificates and prepare payment advice for clients.
  • Handle claims, payments, variations, and final project accounts.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently with sound knowledge of local standards and project requirements.
