About the Roles

Join a furniture manufacturing and construction company as a Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Executive based in Mandai Estate. This is a full-time permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30AM to 5:30PM. The role offers a competitive package that includes a basic salary, variable bonus, and medical and dental benefits.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitor and control project expenditures to keep within approved budgets.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from contract award through completion, including closing final accounts.
  • Prepare procurement schedules and material lists in alignment with architectural requirements and project timelines.
  • Source subcontractors, request and compare quotations, and draft subcontract agreements when needed.
  • Track defects, document variation orders, and submit variation costs on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage monthly progress claims and finalize accounts.
  • Review variation claims from subcontractors and ensure procedures are properly followed.
  • Follow up on payment certificates for subcontractors and issue payment advice to clients as required.
  • Manage progress claims, payments, variation orders, and project close-out activities.
  • Handle other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
  • At least two years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently with solid knowledge of local standards and regulations.
