About the role
We are seeking an Analyst, Finance to join the dynamic team at Gildan Asia-Pacific Pte.Ltd. in Bugis, Central Region. As an Analyst, Finance, you will play a crucial role in the financial accounting and reporting functions of our organisation. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career growth and development.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounts and reports in a timely and compliant manner
- Analyse financial data, identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurately captured and reported
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a financial accounting or reporting role, preferably in the manufacturing or retail industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and ERP systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations and reporting standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
