About the role

We are seeking an Analyst, Finance to join the dynamic team at Gildan Asia-Pacific Pte.Ltd. in Bugis, Central Region. As an Analyst, Finance, you will play a crucial role in the financial accounting and reporting functions of our organisation. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, accounts and reports in a timely and compliant manner
  2. Analyse financial data, identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making
  3. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurately captured and reported
  5. Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  7. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  2. 2-3 years of experience in a financial accounting or reporting role, preferably in the manufacturing or retail industry
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  4. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and ERP systems
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  6. Knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations and reporting standards
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
