Accounts Assistant (AR) – 6 Months (Healthcare Industry)

Location: Novena (Walking distance from MRT)

Salary: Up to $4,200/month

Working Hours: Mon–Thu 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Fri 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Contract: 6 months (extendable/convertible)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant (AR). The role involves managing non-patient accounts receivable, month-end closing activities, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (non-patient):

  • Ensure all non-patient invoices are accurate and issued promptly.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and receipts accurately.
  • Administer monthly revenue accruals and recognition.
  • Process customer refunds for retail and online sales.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve invoice/collection issues.
  • Conduct verification and reconciliation of sales across branches and online platforms.

Month-End Closing:

  • Prepare journal entries and bank/billing reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly schedules and support month-end close processes.

General:

  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
  • Support workplace improvement projects such as AI or RPA initiatives when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy with ≥5 years relevant experience or Degree in Accountancy with ≥2 years relevant experience, or currently pursuing ACCA (completed Level 2 or higher).
  • Strong understanding of finance systems, accounts receivable processes, and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Responsible, proactive, resilient, and result-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
