Accounts Assistant (AR) – Healthcare Industry

Location: Novena (walking distance from MRT)

Salary: Up to $4,200

Duration: 6 months contract (extendable/convertible)

Working Hours: Mon–Thu, 8.30am–6.00pm | Fri, 8.30am–5.30pm

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:

  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of non-patient invoices in line with billing procedures.
  • Record receipts and process customer refunds for retail and online sales.
  • Administer monthly revenue accruals and recognition.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure prompt collections.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, verify and reconcile sales across branches and online platforms.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice or collection issues.

Month-End Closing:

  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Perform bank and billing/sales reconciliations.
  • Compile monthly schedules and reports.

General:

  • Support workplace improvement initiatives (e.g., AI, RPA projects).
  • Carry out other ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting Officer.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy with at least 5 years' experience, OR currently pursuing ACCA (completed Level 2), OR Degree in Accountancy with at least 2 years' experience.
  • Solid knowledge of finance processes and AR accounting treatment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines.
  • Responsible, proactive, and a good communicator with strong teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
