Job Description
You will undertake financial and accounting duties to support the team in various finance functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle full spectrum of Accounts Receivable Functions including Hire Purchase.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily receipts records in the accounting systems.
- Monitor overdue accounts and carry out debt collection efforts.
- Liaise with external legal counsel on ongoing hire purchase legal cases, including documentation submission, case updates, and coordination of necessary actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Generate aging reports
- Prepare and submit flooring documents to bank for financing.
- Monitor the maturity dates of floor stock (flooring) loans to ensure timely repayment or renewal in accordance with financing terms.
- Performance bank reconciliation
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma /Degree or Professional Accounting Certificates
- Minimum 2 - 5 years' relevant experience
- Meticulous and keen to learn
- Good communication skills, a team player with a high level of independence
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Word
