Marketing & Events Assistant (3-Month Contract)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Assistant to support marketing initiatives and client engagement activities. This is a great opportunity for individuals with at least 2 years of experience in events management, marketing, or communications, who are eager to contribute to our client's reputation as a global leader in real estate services. You will assist in the planning and delivery of impactful events, internal activations, and branded experiences that reflect our values and strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of client events (e.g., conferences, networking sessions, roundtables, VIP dinners).
- Handle event logistics, including venue booking, vendor coordination, catering, AV setup, and registration.
- Prepare event materials such as agendas, briefing notes, name tags, and feedback forms.
- Liaise with speakers, partners, and guests to ensure smooth event execution.
- Support the development of engagement strategies to enhance client participation and experience.
- Provide input during team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and post-event reviews to improve processes.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree with at least 2 years' experience in events, marketing, or communications.
- Able to commit full-time from now until mid-December day work week, hybrid work model).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and planning skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Positive, self-motivated, and meticulous with keen attention to detail.
