About the role

Yours Avery Events Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated and organized Event Assistant to join our team in the West Region on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our experienced Events Managers, ensuring the seamless execution of high-profile corporate events and client-facing functions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the planning and coordination of all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and guest coordination
  2. Providing on-site event support, including set-up, troubleshooting, and liaising with vendors and attendees
  3. Maintaining detailed event records, including budgets, timelines, and post-event analysis
  4. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop engaging event promotion materials
  5. Providing exceptional customer service to event attendees and clients

What we're looking for

  1. Prior experience in event planning or coordination, ideally in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools
  5. A keen eye for detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  6. A passion for the events industry and a desire to contribute to the success of our clients' events
