Position Overview

The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) seeks an Industrial Artificial Intelligence Maturity Readiness Index (AIMRI) & Consumer Sustainability Industry Readiness Index (COSIRI) Platform Manager .

This pivotal role involves managing the full lifecycle of two key platforms. The AIMRI platform is the world's first quantitative framework for evaluating and benchmarking the AI readiness of manufacturing facilities. The COSIRI platform is a globally recognized, independent framework that assesses the sustainability maturity of manufacturing companies. It helps manufacturers to start, scale, and sustain their sustainable manufacturing transformation journeys.

This position is an opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating AI and sustainability in the manufacturing sector and shaping its future. The role is designed for a leader who can drive industrial transformation, leverage data analytics for insights, and oversee the development, launch, and growth of these critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development & Management

• Develop the AIMRI Framework: Conduct research and analysis to identify key metrics for evaluating AI readiness in manufacturing. Collaborate with industry experts to refine the framework, ensuring it is data-driven and user-friendly.

• Oversee Platform Development: Architect and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for both the AIMRI and COSIRI platforms. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all prioritized deliverables from development partners, ensuring a seamless user experience with a 100% digital fit rate (no manual intervention).

• Data and Analytics: Establish a centralized data portal to capture, analyze, and leverage data to generate insights for micro and macro-economic stakeholders. Collaborate with the XIRI-Analytics team to visualize AIMRI and COSIRI data, enabling manufacturers to drive impactful transformation initiatives.

• Oversee and ensure the end-to-end delivery of prioritized deliverables from development team, in alignment with defined development documentation and framework co-developed with the Partner consultancy.

Market Launch & Growth

• Go-to-Market Strategy : Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for the platforms, targeting key customer segments within the manufacturing industry.

• Partnerships & Outreach : Build relationships with industry partners, influencers, and government agencies to expand the global reach of the platforms.

• Continuous improvement : Analyse user data and feedback to continuously improve the platform.

• Content & Social Media : Create informative content such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, and case studies to promote the platforms and their benefits. Use social media platforms like LinkedIn to share content and engage with the target audience.

Training & Leadership

• Training & Development : Conduct needs analysis to identify training requirements for potential users of the AIMRI and COSIRI platforms. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, including presentations, handouts, and assessments.
• Strategic Leadership : Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineering, data science, product management, operations, and marketing) to achieve platform objectives.
• Driving Innovation : Analyze platform performance metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement and foster a culture of innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education & Experience : A degree in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in product management, platform development, or a similar role is required.
• Candidates should also have at least 3 years of job experience related to sustainable manufacturing, technology consulting, or advisory work.
• Skills : The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of artificial intelligence and sustainability for manufacturing industry. They should be proficient in data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau. Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Short-Term Goals - AIMRI (Director Training and Portfolio Development):

• Initially, you will focus on developing training programs for the AIMRI platform.

• Conduct a needs analysis to identify the training needs of potential users.

• Design and develop engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments.

• Deliver training programs and train other trainers to ensure consistent delivery.

Medium-Term Goals:

• Lead all aspects of the AIMRI & COSIRI platform, including development, marketing, and sales.

• Manage a team of developers, designers, and marketing professionals.

• Own the final technical outcomes delivered by the development team.

• Hold business sign-off authority for the AIMRI and COSIRI platform.

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the AIMRI and COSIRI platform.

• Drive user adoption and platform growth globally.
