Sales & Marketing Officer/Executive

The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships at a strategic level. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships to achieve organizational objectives.

Sales Skills: Demonstrated sales acumen with a proven record of achieving and surpassing sales targets. Strong negotiation skills, the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and the capability to effectively close deals are essential.
Networking Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners. Skilled in cultivating long-term partnerships that contribute to sustained business growth.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, persuade clients, and negotiate effectively. Adept at tailoring communication styles to suit different audiences.
Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends, assess competitive landscapes, and leverage opportunities to achieve business objectives.
Customer Service Orientation: Highly customer-focused, committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction through responsiveness, attention to detail, and personalized solutions.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities. Proven capability to manage multiple clients, events, and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in other sales or marketing tools considered an advantage.
Knowledge of Food and Beverage: A good understanding of culinary concepts, menu planning, food trends, and dietary preferences is beneficial. Familiarity with catering operations enhances credibility and sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Sales and Marketing team in updating and maintaining database information, consolidating data, and preparing reports as required.
Respond promptly to all banquet email enquiries with well-prepared and comprehensive proposals.
Handle incoming calls professionally, record accurate messages, and check venue availability when required.
Manage the preparation and inventory control of sales kits, marketing materials, and gifts for corporate, wedding, and private functions.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Relevant Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or F&B Management.
At least two (2) years' experience in Event Sales and/or Event Planning, with a proven track record of success.
Proven ability to innovate, with strong commitment to task completion and the capability to work efficiently, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Willing to work on weekends and public holidays when required to support events or business needs.
