Job Description
- Oversee smooth day-to-day operations of the Front Office in a proactive manner.
- Welcome and assist guests promptly and professionally, ensuring recognition, satisfaction, and problem resolution.
- Perform check-in/check-out procedures using the property management system, following hotel standards.
- Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B) to meet guest needs and maximise results.
- Review daily arrivals, events, VIPs, and room availability; follow up on discrepancies with relevant teams.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings, ensure consistent guest recognition, and support the guest experience team.
- Handle reservations, modifications, cancellations, billing, and guest credit accuracy.
- Address and record guest complaints/requests, and follow up with concerned departments.
- Make decisions on upgrades, comps, and rebates within hotel policy.
- Support training, orientation, and service standards for the Front Office team.
- Inspect front/back-of-house areas for cleanliness, safety, and report faults.
- Promote in-house sales, upselling, and hotel facilities to maximise revenue.
Requirements
- Service-oriented, detail-focused, and team player with a friendly personality.
- Well-presented with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Willing to work shifts; supervisory experience in Rooms Division required.
- Prior experience with Opera/Opera Cloud preferred.
