About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Fashion Designer Intern to join the talented team at MIZPHOENIX INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD', a leading fashion and textile design company based in Bendemeer, Central Region. As a Fashion Designer Intern, you will play a crucial role in the company's design process, contributing to the creation of innovative and trendsetting fashion collections.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist senior designers in the research, ideation, and development of new fashion concepts and design sketches
  2. Collaborate with the design team to translate design ideas into technical specifications and construction details
  3. Participate in the selection of fabrics, trims, and other materials to support the design vision
  4. Contribute to the creation of mood boards, storyboards, and design presentations
  5. Provide support in the production of garment samples and prototypes
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, industry developments, and consumer preferences

What we're looking for

  1. Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills, with a keen eye for design and an understanding of fashion trends
  2. Proficiency in sketching, illustration, and technical design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  4. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the design team
  5. Enthusiasm for the fashion industry and a willingness to learn and grow
