System Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering design efforts by understanding client requirements and proposing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and manage engineering documentation (VDRL), ensuring timely and accurate responses to client feedback.
- Create initial design sketches and guide AutoCAD drafters in producing final engineering drawings.
- Apply industry standards and best practices in design preparation, review, and submission processes.
- Supervise in-house technicians during equipment assembly and cabinet integration.
- Implement system configuration, simulation, testing, and verification procedures.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and deliver in-house training to clients and commissioning engineers.
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar engineering role within industrial markets.
- On job training provided - open to candidates without prior experience.
- Strong documentation and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and suppliers.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Goal-oriented, resourceful, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- AutoCAD certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in site commissioning or radio surveying aligned with SOLAS/MODU standards is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with coverage tools such as CadnaA (PAGA), Ekahau (WiFi), and iBwave (UHF/GSM) is an added advantage.
