Are you a commercially savvy professional with a strong background in the petroleum and petrochemical industry? We are seeking a Senior Commercial Executive to manage the whole deal cycle, from sourcing and procurement to building and structuring long-term contracts. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving growth, optimising procurement strategies, and ensuring seamless transactions across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth demand-supply analysis, pricing benchmark studies, and trade flow analysis to inform commercial strategy and contract structuring.
  • Support the development, review, and administration of long-term supply agreements, sales contracts, and vendor/offtaker arrangements.
  • Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance, and identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare, generate, and review commodities contracts for a diverse range of products.
  • Analyze and pinpoint commercial terms that could pose risks to the company and its shareholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless contract execution and timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, supporting the evaluation of long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with internal governance policies and external trade regulations.

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the petroleum and petrochemicals sector, with exposure to vendor management and contract management.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to conduct demand-supply studies and commercial market analysis.
  • Familiarity with structuring, reviewing, and administering long-term supply/sales contracts.
  • Solid understanding of regional/international market dynamics and trade flows.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Power BI (or similar analytical tools) for modelling and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on ensuring compliance and mitigating risks during contract execution.
